Possibly because although they look like long BASIC programs they have
some reliance on the BBC B's memory map, and the programs are
confilcting with the differences of the Master's map. Your Master
might be defaulting at some stage of the software to some extended
character set it has compared to the Model B. Then again that's just a
general guess from the differences I've witnessed between the two
models of BBC, I don't own a Master.
