I have the very same connector on my 10 year old Sony KX-14CP1 monitor.

It is labelled as Digital and if only I could find the darn manual I could 
tell you the pinouts. I even had the service manual lurking SOMEWHERE, but 
like all old things, when you want it you can't find it. :-(

I'll let you know if it turns up.
