Subject: *FX2,1

I am attempting to use Xfer (written by Mark de Weger) to copy files
onto the PC from a BBC B. When I run the 1stxfer.exe program
It instructs me to do the following *FX commands:
*FX7,4  (set RS423 baud rate to 1200)
*FX2,1 (get characters from the RS423 port instead of keyboard)

The cable seems OK and the transfer appears to complete OK, but I then
need to save the program on the Beeb to disk, but of course the beeb is
only accepting input from the RS423 port? i.e. *FX2,0 would do it, but
being as I can't type it on the beeb, should this be the last command
transfered by 1stxfer.exe? However the keyboard on the beeb remains
unresponsive, as if it is still waiting for further input from the RS423
port. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks.
