Personally speaking, I've got no problems with people advertising BBC kit on
this mailing list.  In fact, I quite like to see it, as I rarely visit the
8BS web site.  That is, unless the ads start getting out of hand.

An alternative I guess is for someone to post the contents of the private
ads web page at regular intervals, say every month.  But that seems like
overkill to me.
