Subject: XFer in C, other updates

I've uploaded XFer in C to ftp://ftp.dcs.ed.ac.uk/pub/ajcd/BBC/xferc.zip and
ftp://ftp.dcs.ed.ac.uk/pub/ajcd/BBC/xferc.tar.gz
The contents of both archives is the same, they both have Linux and Win32
executables, source code, and readmes. This is a re-implementation of Mark de
Weger's XFer in C, and is open source. Until I can work out how to set up a
publicly accessible and secure CVS server, please send patches to me. I've
used these programs to download nearly all of my BBC discs to my Linux box
(110 discs with nearly 16MB of data). If you can't connect there, try looking
in ftp://tardis.ed.ac.uk/users/ajcd/BBC/ instead.

Coming sometime soon to my ftp sites; an HDFS fix, .inf files in the Elite-A
zips and tar.gz files, my old assembler/disassembler (not yet the nice new
spiffy version I was working on).

If e-mail to me bounces, your mail system is probably mis-configured. Add the
string "af8Gg01zXrl3k6yy32OtE9Q11v" to the message subject to get through my
spam-blocks. This string will change periodically.
