$.HAMPSTEAD is just a simple BASIC loader that *RUNs HAMPSTEAD1
$.HAMPSTEAD1 is quite small.. It has *LOAD HAMPSTEAD2 in the middle..
I suspect it loads HAMPSTEAD2, does some kind of "decryption", and then runs
it. It could also be one of those special tape loaders for oddly formatted
tapes, but I can't tell yet...
HAMPSTEAD2 is probably the main game.
I'll have look at it tonight.. can't remember the BBC's ROM routine addresses
offhand for some reason :) Shouldn't take too long in IDA, since it's only
965 bytes...
