I'm agnostic as to whether Mr Choudhry stays on this list or not; it would
save on the D key if he were to post messages of substance though. I
didn't particularly want this thread extended but I saw the replied-to
message and I was a bit offended...

Ooooh. That's a bit low, in my view unwarranted, and furthermore a little
paranoid for an electronic forum related to a 1980s-era computer.

I don't suppose these even warrants answering. Everyone on this list has
an ethnic name, and we have had no problems so far. I, at least, certainly
have better things to have problems with than your name, or anyone else's
for that matter. If you're looking for racism, I don't think you will find
it on this mailing list other than in your imagination. (Though, certain
BBC-related websites may not be entirely untainted in this respect.) 

Unfortunately I don't have a record of the rest of your e-mail; I have
followed your advice and filter out your messages. So I apologise if I got
the wrong end of the stick.
