There were a couple of Graphics Extension-type ROMs: one from Acorn if I
recall correctly.  This probably doesn't qualify as an "acceleration
card", as the ROMs simply contained a library of machine code routines.

Also, I'm sure a second processor could be used to accelerate
graphics... :-)
