If it used Econet for the link, you'd need an econet interface on the PC,
see Mark Usher's Project Babel, and appropriate drivers on the PC.  I know
that apparently econet drivers have been built into the latest versions of
Linux, but I don't have any more info than that.
 
Alternatively, if the NFS used a different link system, such as my RSNet
system, which uses the RS232 port as the data link level instead of the
6854.  Again, that's on one of those disks littering my desk 8).
