Well, I guess I must correct myself.
I played Choplifter on Mame and it sure looks like it, but it's not the game
I meant. Moreover, Choplifter is from 1985 and the game I meant is from
before 1985 (as is Superior's Airlift). Maybe the game I mean is a clone of
a predecessor of Choplifter?
Is there anyone who can shine some light on this mystery of life?
Mark.

You're correct that the original arcade game is Choplifter. But what do you
mean by "never released games"? I was referring to a game I used to play a
lot, but which I cannot find on the net.
Mark.

This was much more like the original Choplifter arcade game. The
helicopter actually tilted around rather than the static chooper in
Airlift. Unfortunately I think it was one of those never released games,
like that excellent looking tornado game.
