I'm trying to get my BBC to control functions on my Playstation.
I've broken the conections on the DOWN button on the Playstation, and now
want the BBC to activate that (and other) button/s via a patch lead/s
connecting the USER PORT to the Playstation.
The reason is that I want the BBC to automatically step down through the
options on 'FLUID' an 8-track sound studio on the Playstation, with an
adjustable time delay. Having a switch or sensor connected to the SQUARE
button turns the highlighted track on/off.
This and other uses would be brilliant for some of the people I work for,
reducing the need for a helper, and reducing their influence over the
person's creativity.
Can anyone help me do it....I've built USER PORT interface boxes before,
"A%=?&FE60" - A% returning the value of the switches pressed or not.....I
have no idea how to activate external devices (eg. a door bell).
Thanks
Barrie
