If you mean the Acorn Communicator, mine has a 65816 in it.
Is the 65c112 another 16 bit 6502 variant ?

I've been half considering putting the 65816 out of my communicator onto my
Master internal 6502 board.
It powers up in 6502 emulation mode by default, and you set a status bit to
put it into 16 bit mode.
Should work ok unless there are interrupts used by the second processor -
interrupt routines need to be aware which mode the processor is in when they
are called.
