Dear All,

Been away for some time - so have missed many posts over the last year -
but have finally ended up in the box room - and am just putting the Beeb
B up together with the Ample kit alongside the PC. Its amazing what you
forget.... hence question(s)

Does anyone know whether the talked about (some time ago now!) code
changes to get around the ample rom id checks against the software disks
was ever forthcoming ? - I understood this was something Chris Jordan
had offered to do ..... ? Still stuck with my old Ample Rom and a non
matching 2000 box and software just waiting to fly!

If there are no such code changes - what's my best route to success ?  
Can I get a new rom flashed with the appropriate ID 
Some one once before I believe offered a rom and disk combo for a fee -
happy to negotiate

PS - I hear that CJ is possibly thinking about porting AMPLE to the PC
