It can be a pain in the bum :)
BBC Explorer (on nvg.org) will read Watfraud 62-file discs. Tom Seddon
also had a utility, DCONV, for copying files, which would recognise
Watford discs.
Alternatively, fire up BBC Explorer, and break up the 62-file disc image
into two 31-files - move some files from drive 0 to drive 1.
(tedious...)
When I used a real Beeb w/Watford DFS and I had requests for, um,
backups of my game discs, I used a dual drive and copied the B.* (basic
files) and M.* (machine code files) to the other side of the destination
disc and altered the menu/loader program to load the game code from that
side instead. Thus side 0 of the disc would contain $.*, and side 1
would contain B.* and M.*. This worked fairly well but was still a
pain.
