Subject: Transferring BBC discs

I have a load of BBC discs that I want to transfer to my PC, but I don't 
have a serial cable, or any way of getting one. However, I could connect my 
5.25" BBC drive to my PC, or connect a spare 3.5" drive to my BBC. My BBC 
has an 8271 controller and DFS 1.20. Would either of these work, or is there 
another way of transfering the discs? I will only connect my 5.25" drive to 
my PC if there is virtually no chance of it breaking.
