I don't believe I kept any of that stuff, I'm afraid, but how about this
for an alternative solution?

Take my decoder program code and run it on the emulator.  Modify the code
to whine as soon as my emulated VIA timers and the emulators VIA timers
get out of step.

I really should get a little more work done on Xbeeb and get that out in
a new release.  I've got some patches contributed by Russell Marks some
time back that I've still not incorporated and there were some other changes
I still wanted to make (I was having fun with the lack of useful documentation
for XDGA last time, I believe).  Then I could test stuff out on that, too.
