It's almost certainly the extra Ram board. Must be the connectors. Either
that, or some of your chips are missing (so you'll have to get someone to
look at it).

I had the same sort of thing with my Beeb when the Solidisk DDFS chip
interface somehow went wrong. I still don't know which bit of the
motherboard is stopping it from working. You'll have to try everything!
