I have a couple of these tapes (issues 10 and 11) and tried converting
them into tape format for use with 6502Em (RISC OS) a few years ago.
I found that the tapes, being very poor quality in the first place,
had become almost unreadable. In both cases I did, in fact, manage to
transfer side 1, but side 2 was unreadable.
So, I've got tape files for the first sides of those two issues, and
can send them if they're any good to you, but I don't think that any
PC BBC emulators support the 6502Em tape format.
Incidentally, I have very fond memories of the MODE7 Teletext Editor!
That was absolutely outstanding. It's years since I used it, but I
recall that it was far better than anything else, including some
commercial equivalents. (I think that BBC Soft used to publish one for
a tenner that was really poor by comparison.)
I don't recall the 'rude' Frak having been published by them, though.
I'd be *very* surprised if it was. They'd have got themselves done for
both piracy and porn in one single action if they'd published that!
(Not to mention upsetting a large part of their readership.) No way,
Jose!
