All I was contesting was your original claim that it was lossless,
which you later repeated. You retracted this in email [1], and that's
all I was after.

The reason for the cc was your claim that Tom Lane didn't know what he
was talking about. I did give you a chance to retract it.

[1] I hope it isn't unacceptable to give a very brief quote - "I've
accepted that JPEG100s aren't bit for bit identical as the source
image".
