Heh. Was that meant ironically? If not, *. is actually pretty widespread.
Does anyone remember all those type-in programs which generated machine code
programs called ">" to catalogue the disk in the event that someone forgot
to press SHIFT and ended up typing *> instead? Someone should make an
archive of them!
