Subject: more scans

Hi all,

I've put up a few more scans from PCW (e.g. ZX80 ad from 1980, I think
ads/reviews for non-Acorn stuff are still interesting to give an idea of
what the other machines were like. You could relive your decisions to
buy a BBC (or to want an electron, wait wait wait wait wait, loan some
money and buy a BBC) etc.).

I'll probably put some more of these scans (e.g. micro professor II,
colour genie) up space permitting. All acorn related scans will arrive
on 8bs.com soon (weekend at the earliest). These non-Acorn scans
probably won't make it there.

I've made a list of other scans (manuals, software boxes etc) on my www
pages. These will also appear on 8bs at the same time.

PS. For any scan requests mail me. I tried djvu on windoze btw and it
didn't give that big an advantage compared to similar sized jpg's. Will
check some more with other scans. Can't view then in FreeBSD as the
program for the plugin causes an illegal instruction. Nice.

PPS. I get the idea I can have more fun in alt.flame than here :(
