Firetrack is to my knowledge the only commercial title for the BBC which
exploited a very cunning hardware hack in order to achieve pixel-by-pixel
vertical hardware scrolling at 50Hz, i.e. very pretty effect at virtually
no cost. It was a kind of vertically scrolling shooter in the same vein as
Xenon on other machines. I've admittedly never seen it running on a real
Beeb myself.
(Still haven't had a chance to finish writing up the explanation of how it
works... give us a bit of time...)

I've not seen Firetrack, is it available anywhere as a disk image (with the
intention of transferring it to a real Beeb) anywhere, to satisfy my
curiosity?
What exactly does the program do?
:))
