We recorded a piece on Domesday, and it was scheduled to be shown on the 10 o
clock news on Wednesday. Unfortunately the death of Spike Milligan took over
that slot. Its possible it may be shown at another time but it seems unlikely
now.
On the plus side, Domesday got a good mention at the Digital Preservation
Coalition press launch at the House of Commons on Wednesday night. One of the
speakers (Lloyd Grossman would you belive) held up a Domesday disc I took
down as an exhibit and talked about some of the digital preservation problems
we are facing.
