Subject: Umm, dead Beeb?

Having spent the morning transferring some of the old disks across, the BBC 
'hung' - wouldn't respond to break, crtl-break etc.
Did the 'PC thing' and turned it on and off. The problem is all it will do 
now is beep. Continuously. There's no display on the monitor.

Whipped the lid off, tried re-seating the keyboard connector. No change.

Has it died?
