Subject: Re: Question on Xfer

I didn't think this was the problem as I have successfully transferred
files to the Beeb of less than 4096 bytes - so presumed that the cable
and all handshaking etc. was working OK. In one of the readme files
that came with Xfer it mentions a bug in an earlier release:- "program
crashing when transferring files with length of exact multiple of 4,000
bytes (4,000 bytes is BBC buffer size)" - but that this had been fixed
in release 2.3. I'll try increasing the buffer on the PC end all the
same.

Thanks,

sean

Does the beeb actually receive anything?
I suspect not,and that the PC's serial buffer is 4k.
Is the 5 pin DIN in the right way up?
