All the events are turned off already by default,and the rest is all
interrupt driven so you only slow the machine down by doing things with it.
The interrupts that always run include ADC conversions,100Hz timer ticks,and
vsync interrupts.You break allsorts of things by turning the last two off
but you can quite safely turn off ADC conversions,heck,you could even unplug
the ADC chip.
The real speed comes from overclocking,
