How about PDF to get the best of both worlds? I expect there's a good
chance that whatever you're using to create RTF can also create PostScript
(even if only via a printer driver) and fro PostScript to PDF is pretty
sraightforward if you can get the appropriate (free) tools (ghostscript can
do it, for example).
Otherwise, I'd go for HTML in preference to RTF.
