Subject: Informal request regarding HTML messages
Hi all on this list.
I would like to informally request that the members on this list think
twice when it comes to posting messages in HTML format.
Plain text messages are the usual form of email and take up a lot less
room. Also, some email clients post the message only in HTML and put a
plain text message that says 'go away and get a better email
program'. This leaves some people completely unable to read any emails
posted as HTML.
Also, as a matter of policy, HTML only messages are not be added to the
Mailing List archive.
Just my thoughts on the matter,
Jon R.
