I haven't got the Cub schematics (or a Cub!) in front of me, but I don't think
there is much in the way of electronic control to them (via pots on the PCB).
Alignment is done purely via playing about with the magnets on the CRT neck.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong here! :)
If the current alignment is noticably bad I don't think you'll make things
worse by trying to re-align things; I've done it successfully on a few more
modern displays before. Usual precautious for working with HV equipment apply
of course.
What Torch units are they by the way? The brown-cased units with a
vertically-mounted BBC board inside?
