I can help! I wrote the uef module, and discover just now that I still have
the code. There have just been some
alterations in UEF land (Fraser Ross is working on a new utility, createuef,
which entirely supplants the old
makeuef and is much more accurate - he added some new chunks which compactthe
storing of some things), so
I'll send the code as-was inorder for you to be able to put BeebEm back together,
and try to put together an
update tomorrow or the day after. I'm heavily re-engineering ElectrEm at
the minute and was about to work on
the new look tape mechanisms anyway. Would BeebEm have any use for the ability
to save to UEF?

I originally intended the code to be eventually for public consumption (after
a trial run with BeebEm), but life
distracted me for a while back there. Anyway, I'll package source, etc, and
send them to your personal email
address.
