Yes, I've the same book.
I purchased the book, when it first came out, and spoke to the author at
length because the circuit was incorrect.
I never complete the project because of cost of the ram at the time, and was
able to run most PC applications I wanted to.
But from memory, you needed to re-write code in the eproms to support this
additional ram. I'm sure I was sent two new eproms to insert into my board,
but where they are now is a mystery!
