OK, did that from my laptop also. Here's what I get trying to send a file to
the BBC:
On the BBC I get:

Status: waiting for command
100001
9600
Initialising at 9600 baud
Status: waiting for command
T.ICECUBE
16718080
16744491
8650
0
Status:receiving file
File name: T.ICECUBE
File length: 8650

On the PC (Laptop) I get:

Sending file T.ICECUBE ff1900 ff802b 21ca RWX from ICECUBET
Sent 4096 of 8650

After that BOTH ends are locked in what appears to be an unbreakable loop.
ESCape on the BBC doesn't stop the programme, neither does CTRL-C on the PC.

Dunno what's going on here.

(Oh, BTW, Mark, this is with your debug version using MYXFER -h ctsrts)
