Anyone tried building a more portable, smaller Beeb using more modern 
components? It would make an interesting project - replacing all 
those banks of RAM ICs with something like a SIMM, cutting out the 
circuitry for the cassette interface and other unused sections, using 
a CF card instead of a floppy drive ... Mmmm ...
