Subject: solidisk DFDC

L.S.

Recently I got hold of a DFDC board complete with support chips and DFDC
installation instructions. The DFDC also uses a modified 7438 (IC79)
with a wire from pin 4 to 11 as does the standard DDFS. This should fix
the drive selection problem (from checking the circuit diagram) I
had with another DFDC board (and solved in another way). Strange that
soli still used this solution for the DFDC. Why not invert the drive 0
signal on the DFDC? (particularly as the 8271 support chips are soldered
in on later BBCs)

I'll scan those instructions (for the v1 version of the DFDC) and put
them up...

Regards,

Wouter
