If i remember correctly there was a DFS version which supported up to
62 directory entries instead of the normal 31. Is this what you mean?
I must have got the ROM image somewhere on my 5 1/4 floppy's...

Just heard a rumour from an ex-Torch employee that there may be a
version of DFS from Watford that would understand the filesystem used on
the BBC-based systems used by Torch (which apparently supported more
files per disk that standard Acorn DFS)

I do have a "Watford DFS" ROM but this doesn't appear to like the format
(unless I need to do something specific to kick it into "Torch mode")

Any ideas if there was such a ROM (and if so is there a copy online
anywhere)?
