It would seem that Colin is looking to source the disks themselves,
rather than try to find a compatible drive (from a PC or otherwise).
The technical info. has obviously been presented by people far more
knowledgeable than myself, so all I can add is this:
I bought some Siemens 48 TPI 5.25" disks from Ebay that were designed
for use with IBM compatible PC's, and they format flawlessly to 40 or
80 track under DFS.
