Subject: Re: Virus diagnostics

For those looking for something to scrub the latest virus from their
machine, I can recomment NAI's Stinger program available at
http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

It is not a fully featured anti-virus solution, however it does at least
allow you to clean your machine so that patches etc can be installed.

Of course a suitable anti-virus product should then be installed (and kept
up-to-date!) to protect the machine in the long term.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
