Nice :)
Not really any new exciting bits here this week - I did pick up a
Prestel adapter yesterday, plus a couple of external drives today, and I
bumped into another ex-Acorn exployee who may prove a useful contact.
The drive's curious because it's the first one I've had made by Acorn
themselves; all the others I've seen have been made by third parties.
It's a dual 80-track unit made from two identical plastic cases stacked
together.
As for the Prestel adapter... God only knows what I'll do with that :-)
Does anyone know if any of the hardware and software at the server side
which provided the Prestel service was ever preserved by anyone?
cheers
