Teac
Mitsubishi
Tandon
NEC
Chinon
Citizen

are some I can think of. I had a pair of NEC drives in a Pace-badged
metal case. They were unusual in that they had square in-use LEDs.
Nice drives, they ran well with the keyboard link settings set to
highest speed and would read discs no other drive would touch.

The most common were Teac and Mitsubishi. The Mitsu drive I have now is
actually a PC 1.2Mb drive with the jumper links set to allow it to work
in double density. 1.2Mb drives also spin at 360rpm, rather than the
300 of earlier units.
