This was in the upper school, now demolished. Room 64 on the 2nd floor.
Level 1 file server, single-sided 40 track disc drive initially (I
still have several floppies with the "&.FS" BASIC file server program
on them which couldn't serve any file bigger than the spare RAM
available), later upgraded to an E01 Filestore with an unimaginably
huge 20MB hard disc. Ah, *I AM SYST, those were the days. I've never
encountered another networking system which let you get up to quite
such dirty tricks with other people's computers ;-)
