Well, the interface is parallelised now. And it doesn't
suck : 110 KB/sec read and write speed. Not bad for a
mere beeb. Sometimes write drops to around half that,
depending on the efficiency of the pre-write erase.

Ouch. This must become the fastest filing system for
the beeb yet ...

And it all fits in a CPLD of about 1 UKP a pop. Not
bad ... ;-)
