Yea I've already got one programmed. The other way is to use a pic to
drive an 8-bit ether card which would probably be better as then u only
have to drive the bus. I havent played with pic/tcp for ages so this is
gunna take some getting used to again. But I think i'd prefer using
these little modules for the idea i had in mind (see below)

yea i gotta get a hold of an econet module first :D but I wanna try and
stay away from having (yet another :D that'll make 6) box just for this,
the idea i had as something that could just plug into the insides of a B
so all that shows is the RJ-45maybe even using one of the other
connectors (eg the serial port) as the programming port for the pic. so
if the bbc is off you can program the pic with the details etc to save
opening the box.. That way we could keep the "looks" of a classic beeb.
