I'm waiting with baited breath (and soldering iron) for JGH's project!
While I have a collection of 512MB drives picked up cheap from
electronics shops and rallies, they're getting harder to come by - and
of course, their remaining lifespan is totally unknown. So I also have
some CompactFlash adaptors, and a goodly collection of CF cards between
2 and 32 MB to use instead of conventional HDs.
Should let me store Chuckie Egg, Granny's Garden and Repton 3 just
nicely ...
