I'm not convinced by this now - reading a bit I reckon they bought a 
licence to Acornsoft, not a complete transfer.

When Acorn were buggered it would have made sense for Superior to have 
then gone on to take the rights over completely.

I suspect the best bet is to ask Richard Hanson about the exact position.
