I've emailed Mark Hudson (AFAICR he's on uknot too), I think he still does 
OU stuff, maybe.

Though I think the main answer is to remove the subscriber from the list.

According to Mark, "a rule of thumb is that if an address ends 
@... or @student.open.ac.uk it is on Firstclass".
