Subject: Enormous Cub screen

I've just been offered an enormous Cub screen (27" or so the owner
believes; I've only ever seen one real gigantic Cub before but I
remember it being huge certainly)

I'm tempted to say yay to it because it'd sure look the part on the
Domesday system at the museum - currently I'm assuming that it can be
made to work given the right cable.

Only thing is, working state is unknown. Question is, has anyone seen
inside one of these beasts and can say how close the circuitry is to the
normal-sized Cub? There must be a few differences in components to alter
timing and to generate a higher screen voltage for the bigger tube, but
I'm hoping that this is just a scaled-up normal Cub and so behaves in
exactly the same way, just with much bigger pixels. Anyone able to
confirm?

cheers

Jules
