Subject: Patch for 6502Em

Has anybody else been tearing their hair out trying to get
Warm Silence's 6502Em to do anything useful, such as accessing
floppies or running machine code without falling over?

Don't get me wrong, 6502Em is a very useful product, it's just
there were some annoying problems with it.

To solve these problems I have written a small patch program that will
patch version "3.02 (4th June 1999)". It is available on my website at
http://www.mdfs.net/Apps/Emulators/BBC

In summary, it fixes the following:

1. ROMs are renamed from using "," to use "-" in names.
2. "Read CSD" doesn't fall over if the CSD does not begin with "$".
3. OSARGS 1,0 reads the command line instead of trying to do =PTR#0.
4. OSWORD &7F reads and writes to floppies in the absence of ImageDFS.
5. OSFILE acts on calls &FF,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.

It adds the following extensions:

6. ROMs can be dragged to the icon bar icon.
7. "LoadROM" command can take a ROM bank number.
8. Scripts can be terminated with a single "*".
9. Service6502_* issued when unsupported I/O accessed at &FCxx and &FDxx.
