Interesting. Given the rumour about past BBC ownership, is there
anything extra about the machine other than the standard documentation
that comes with them? Be good to get it scanned from a preservation
point of view if so!

They go for silly money on EBay as far as I'm aware - somewhere around
the 400/500 pound mark or so. Condition of the manuals / disc box, and
even the hardware doesn't seem to affect the price much so long as it's
a complete system.
(the players are unreliable as hell, so it's rare to find a working one
anyway! :)
If you do stick it on EBay then post to comp.sys.acorn.hardware and let
people there know about it, I'm sure you'll attract some interest.

You know, we've got just about one of everything over at Bletchley, but
I'm not sure if we have a Microtan. Hope you find a good home for it!
