Subject: MDFS has died

My MDFS has just died, so I can't read or respond to email.
I'm writing this live online to Arcade. Also, until I get
it up again I won't be able to program EPROMs for the
IDE interface, or copy demo software to the hard drives.
The IDE interface components arrived today, so I'll be
assembling cards over the next few days. I can't reply to
the people who have emailed me about the cards - your
messages are stuck inside the server!

Luckily, I've just bought a second MDFS - thanks Chris!
I tried swapping its fuse into my main MDFS, but it blew,
suggesting a power supply fault rather than a transient
surge on the mains. I've run out of internal fuses, so
once I've bought some replacements, I'll swap the MDFS's
hard drive into the replacement MDFS. Please bear with me!

Grrr... I'm a hardware user, not a hardware repairer...
