It's fairly simple to add the extra hardware to the Master ET. Off
the top of my head, you should just need:
IC1 : 7406 hex inverter
IC2 : 7438 quad NAND
IC3 : 1770 or 1772 Floppy Disk Controller
IC4 : 74LS174
PL1 : 34-way IDC header
and the Master DFS. You could either get DFS 2.xx blown into a 16K
ROM and plug it into a spare ROM socket, or get hold of a 8*16K
combined MOS ROM to replace the 4*16K combined MOS in the Master
ET. Adding a printer port is a similar process. Many people did
this with BBC Model As to partially convert them into Model Bs.
Save up a bit. Add another 16K of memory. Save up a bit more. Add
a printer port. Save up a bit more... etc.
If possible, it would be useful if you could take some pictures of
the inside of your machine. I've not seen and pictures of the PCB
populated for a Master ET.
